I recently made quite a few mugs for my workmates. One went a bit wrong (because I managed to bash the handle off it when it was leather hard :oS – but the others made it through! Here’s a quick vid of the kiln opening…
Everything came out of the kiln in one piece…success!
Each of the items were individually stamped with a little message for each person in the office. Some have little office in-jokes on there, others are a bit more sensible!
I quite liked the colours that these came out, but would like to try and find something with more of a contrast – and something that isn’t as matt. I think I need to dip the items in clear glaze once they are dry.
